Wavecrest provides a holistic 18-month programme — featuring courses from a world leader in gifted education — that equips economically disadvantaged, high-ability youths with a growth mindset and broader perspective through experiential learning. We look beyond intellectual growth to nurture their socio-emotional resilience.

What we do

Wavecrest sponsors scholars to enrol in advanced Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) courses, where they can pursue unique interests beyond the school curriculum

CTY is a renowned educational institution that delivers academic excellence and transformational experiences to advanced learners, by fostering intellectual growth in exceptional students from all backgrounds and communities.

Wavecrest Scholars will have the freedom to choose their desired courses from a wide range of uncommon options including Modern Cryptography, Storytelling & Social Justice, Worldbuilding and many more.

Beyond getting to dig deep into topics they love, Scholars will enjoy a highly differentiated learning experience with peers and teachers from all over the world, giving valuable early exposure to a global community of like-minded individuals.

What drives us

Economically disadvantaged high-ability youths might fall through the cracks in their educational journey when there is insufficient support.

Wavecrest aims to level the playing field for these youths so they, too, can access opportunities for holistic development.
